Maintenance Schedule and Compensation
Before the update goes live, Kuro Games will take the servers offline for maintenance. For NA servers, maintenance begins at 01:00 PM PST on February 4, 2026. For the rest of the world, it starts at 04:00 AM CST on February 5, 2026. The maintenance is expected to last approximately six hours, though it could end one to two hours early, as has happened in previous updates.
During this downtime, players will be unable to log in. To compensate for the inconvenience, Kuro Games will distribute 300 Astrites and 2 Crystal Solvents to all players who have unlocked the mail feature before the maintenance begins. These rewards will be sent via in-game mail, so players should claim them promptly.
New Characters and Outfits
The headline addition in version 3.1 is the introduction of two new 5-star Resonators: Aemeath and Luuk Herssen. Both characters have already become fan favorites, thanks to their powerful kits and compelling designs. Aemeath is expected to bring a new dynamic to team compositions, while Luuk Herssen offers a fresh playstyle that many players are eager to explore.
In addition to the new characters, the update will also add new outfits for Rover, the game's protagonist. These cosmetic items will allow players to customize their Rover's appearance, adding a personal touch to their journey through Solaris-3.

Banners and Featured Characters
When version 3.1 launches, the banners will feature a lineup of popular characters. According to the official announcement, the featured characters are Aemeath, Luuk Herssen, Chisa, Lupa, and Galbrena. This diverse roster gives players plenty of options to pull for, whether they are looking for meta-defining DPS units or support characters that can enhance their existing teams.
Players should plan their pulls carefully, as resources like Astrites and Lustrous Tides are limited. Those who have been saving for Aemeath or Luuk Herssen will finally have their chance to add them to their roster.
Preload and Countdown
As of the latest information, the preload for Wuthering Waves 3.1 has not yet been released. Once it becomes available, players will be able to download the update files ahead of time, reducing the wait on launch day. The preload size and other details will be shared by Kuro Games closer to the release date.
A countdown timer for the update has been a popular tool for players to track the exact moment the servers go live. While the timer has now expired, the excitement remains high. For those who missed it, the update is either live or just moments away, depending on when this article is read.
What to Expect on Launch Day
On launch day, players can expect a smooth rollout if previous updates are any indication. Kuro Games has a track record of delivering major content drops with minimal issues, and the team has been working hard to ensure version 3.1 meets expectations. The update will bring new story quests, events, and exploration content, though specific details are still under wraps.
As with any major update, it is advisable to log in early to avoid potential queues and to claim compensation rewards before they expire. Players should also keep an eye on official channels for any last-minute announcements regarding maintenance extensions or hotfixes.
Final Thoughts
Wuthering Waves 3.1 is shaping up to be a landmark update for the game. With two highly anticipated characters, new outfits, and a wealth of content, it offers something for both veteran players and newcomers. Whether you are pulling for Aemeath, exploring the snowy landscapes of the new version, or simply enjoying the fresh cosmetics, there is plenty to look forward to.
So, mark your calendars, prepare your Astrites, and get ready to dive into "For You Who Walk in Snow." The snow is falling, and the adventure is about to begin. ❄️?
Once the launch-day excitement settles and you're waiting for daily resets or the next banner, it can be nice to have something else to browse. If you also play PC games outside of Solaris-3, keeping tabs on seasonal discounts is an easy way to make your gaming budget go further.
That's where DealNest's steam sale tracker comes in handy. It lets you follow ongoing and upcoming Steam promotions in one place, so you can spot deals on titles you've been meaning to try without refreshing store pages every day.

Yangyang Xuanling, the long-awaited special form of Wuthering Waves' mascot girl, has finally arrived, and she has immediately established herself as the premier Havoc DPS in the game. According to the latest tier lists, her damage output surpasses every other character in the Havoc element, making her a must-pull for any player looking to dominate the endgame content. However, unlocking her full potential requires a carefully optimized build that focuses on her Heavy Attack-centric playstyle. This guide breaks down everything you need to know, from stat priorities to team compositions, ensuring that your Yangyang Xuanling becomes an unstoppable force on the battlefield.
![[Image: 6acad3f5e3e92049a291c7b5WSZWgtYw07]](https://seogc.fp.ps.netease.com/file/6acad3f5e3e92049a291c7b5WSZWgtYw07)
Stat Priorities: Crit Stats and Heavy Attack Damage
Yangyang Xuanling is a straightforward Havoc DPS who deals the majority of her damage through Heavy Attacks. To build her correctly, you must stack as much Crit Rate and Crit DMG as possible. The golden rule for any DPS in Wuthering Waves is to maintain a 1:2 ratio between Crit Rate and Crit DMG — for example, 70% Crit Rate and 140% Crit DMG. This ensures consistent, high-value critical hits.
Following Crit stats, you should prioritize Heavy Attack Damage and Energy Regen. Yangyang Xuanling needs at least 120% Energy Regen to use her Liberation ability effectively. Without this threshold, her rotation will feel clunky and her damage will suffer. Finally, ATK% is a solid secondary stat that further amplifies her overall damage.

Best Weapons for Yangyang Xuanling
Choosing the right weapon is crucial for maximizing Yangyang Xuanling's damage. Her signature weapon, Azure Oath, is by far the best option. It provides a flat 12% boost to all attribute DMG and massively amplifies Heavy Attack damage after inflicting Havoc Bane on enemies. This synergy perfectly aligns with her kit, making it the undisputed best-in-slot choice.
For alternatives, Emerald Sentence and Red Spring are both excellent 5-star options. If you don't have those, the 5-star Standard weapon Emerald of Genesis is a strong F2P-friendly choice. For 4-star alternatives, Lumingloss and Fables of Wisdom are serviceable, but Emerald of Genesis remains the recommended fallback if you want a budget option that still performs well.
Echoes and Sonata Effects
When it comes to Echoes, there is only one optimal choice: the Song of the Feathered Trace sonata effect. This set is tailor-made for Yangyang Xuanling, and no other set comes close to matching its synergy. For her main Echo, you must use the Thousand-Puppet Pavilion. The recommended Echo cost pattern is 4-3-3-1-1, which has become the standard for most DPS characters in the current meta. This distribution ensures you get the maximum stat boosts while activating the full sonata effect.
Best Team Compositions
Yangyang Xuanling thrives in teams that can support her Havoc Bane application and Heavy Attack focus. Her perfect synergies are Chisa, Phrolova, Suisui, and Shorekeeper. Among these, Chisa and Suisui form her best premium team, as they both enhance her ability to inflict Havoc Bane. If you don't have them, Phrolova and Shorekeeper are excellent substitutes. Additionally, you can run her in a Mono Havoc, Heavy Attack Focused, or Tune Break team, but these are not her optimal setups.

How to Get Yangyang Xuanling
Before you can build Yangyang Xuanling, you need to acquire her from the Wuthering Waves banners. She is available as a limited-time character, so you will need to use Astrite to pull for her. If you are short on Astrite, keep an eye out for redeemable codes that often circulate during special events. Once you have her, the investment in her build will pay off handsomely, as she can clear even the hardest content with ease.
Final Thoughts
Yangyang Xuanling is a powerhouse that rewards investment. By focusing on Crit stats, Heavy Attack Damage, and Energy Regen, and by equipping her with Azure Oath and the Song of the Feathered Trace set, you will unleash her full potential. Pair her with the right teammates, and she will carry you through the toughest challenges in Wuthering Waves. As of 2026, she stands at the top of the Havoc DPS rankings, and with this build, she will remain there for the foreseeable future. Whether you are a veteran player or a newcomer, Yangyang Xuanling is a character worth building and mastering.
Most Wuthering Waves players don't limit themselves to a single game, and the stretch between version updates is usually when the backlog gets attention. Whether you're hunting for something to fill the downtime while waiting on a banner rerun or you'd rather spend your budget on new titles than on pulls, keeping an eye on discounts is the smartest way to stretch your gaming money further.
That's exactly where DealNest comes in. Instead of refreshing store pages and hoping to catch a limited-time drop before it expires, you can use their steam sale tracker to follow price cuts across the titles you actually care about. It's a simple habit that pairs well with any live-service grind: log in, clear your dailies, then check what's on offer before the next patch lands.

The air around Solaris-3 grew thick with anticipation as March 13, 2026, approached. Kuro Games had finally pinned down the moment when its community would gather around screens: the Wuthering Waves 3.2 livestream would begin at 7:00 PM CST. From New Delhi to Auckland, Rovers cleared their schedules, eager to see what the next update held. The special broadcast was set to stream on the official Wuthering Waves YouTube and Twitch channels, a familiar ritual for a player base that had grown used to surprises. For weeks, rumors had swirled about a new playable character, and now the developers were ready to pull back the curtain.

A Global Broadcast for Every Time Zone
Because Wuthering Waves had become a worldwide phenomenon, the livestream schedule mattered as much as the content. The developers made sure no one had to guess when to tune in. The table below gathered the major regions, though players in other areas could rely on a countdown timer to know exactly when the show would start.

The timing was a delicate dance. For some, it meant a morning coffee; for others, a late-night vigil. Yet the shared excitement remained the same. As the clock ticked down, fan forums filled with speculation, fan art, and hopeful wishlists. The livestream promised a complete overview of version 3.2, and Kuro Games rarely disappointed when it came to spectacle.
Sigrika Steps into the Spotlight
At the heart of the broadcast stood Sigrika, the character teased as the newest addition to the roster. Her silhouette had already sparked countless theories. Was she a damage dealer, a support, or something entirely new? The livestream was expected to answer those questions and more. Alongside Sigrika, her signature weapon would also be revealed, giving players a clearer picture of how she might fit into existing team compositions. For theorycrafters, this was the moment they had been waiting for.
The story of Wuthering Waves had always been about discovery, and Sigrika appeared to be another piece of that puzzle. Her design, glimpsed in official teases, suggested a blend of elegance and power. Whether she would redefine the meta or offer a fresh playstyle, only the livestream would tell. Players who followed the game closely knew that new characters often came with dedicated events, story quests, and trial stages, all of which would likely be showcased during the broadcast.
Events, Rewards, and Quality-of-Life Changes
Beyond the character reveal, the Wuthering Waves 3.2 livestream was set to cover a generous slate of events and rewards. Kuro Games had a habit of showering players with resources during major updates, and 3.2 was unlikely to break that pattern. Viewers could expect limited-time challenges, login bonuses, and perhaps a few cooperative activities. The details would matter, especially for free-to-play players looking to stretch their Asterite budgets.
New Wuthering Waves codes were another highlight. These redeemable codes typically offered Astrite, Shell Credits, and upgrade materials, and they often expired quickly. The livestream would likely drop several codes, so attentive viewers would need to act fast. In the past, missing a code meant waiting for the next update, a mistake few wanted to repeat.
Quality-of-life changes also had a place in the announcement. Over the years, the developers had steadily improved daily routines, from echo management to traversal. Version 3.2 was expected to continue that trend, smoothing out rough edges and adding conveniences that players had requested. Such changes rarely made headlines, but they often had the longest-lasting impact on the overall experience.
What It All Meant for the Community
As the livestream approached, the Wuthering Waves community found itself in a familiar yet thrilling position. The game was doing incredibly well, and each update seemed to raise the bar. Version 3.2 was not just another patch; it was a chance for players to reconnect with the world, chase new goals, and welcome a new face to the team. Sigrika represented more than a set of stats. She was a promise that the journey would continue, that the developers still had stories to tell.
For those who could not watch live, the aftermath would be just as important. Summaries, character breakdowns, and code lists would spread across social media within minutes. Yet nothing quite matched the live experience: the countdown, the trailers, the collective gasp when a new character finally appeared on screen. The Wuthering Waves 3.2 livestream was more than an announcement. It was a shared moment, a checkpoint in an ongoing adventure.
When March 13 arrived, Rovers around the globe would tune in, ready to learn what came next. The update itself would follow soon after, bringing Sigrika, her weapon, events, rewards, codes, and quality-of-life improvements to the game. Until then, the community could only wait, speculate, and prepare. The tide was rising, and version 3.2 was ready to make waves. ?
Waiting for an update is one thing, but keeping track of prices across different games and platforms is another challenge entirely. Whether you are budgeting for a new release or simply want to compare costs before committing, having the right tools on hand makes the decision much easier. That is where a reliable game price tracker comes in handy, offering a straightforward way to monitor deals and spot savings without hopping between dozens of storefronts.
For players who like to stay ahead of the curve, DealNest brings together price information in one convenient place, so you can spend less time hunting for discounts and more time enjoying the games you love. It fits neatly into the routine of any dedicated Rover looking to get the most value out of every purchase.

Hi, my name is a person who has watched too many teaser trailers, and I have a problem: I believe release dates are suggestions. Sometimes games get announced way too early. A flashy logo appears at Nintendo Direct, The Game Awards, Gamescom, or the late, great E3, and suddenly I am emotionally invested in a project that will not be playable until my hairline has its own opinion. Marvel's Wolverine? Teased. Kingdom Hearts 4? Teased. The next Mass Effect? Teased, presumably, while we all stare at a nebula and pretend that counts as news. Who among us has not rewatched a 2021 trailer in 2026 and whispered, any day now, buddy?
But here is the thing: when a long-awaited sequel finally arrives and it is actually good, the wait can feel like a weird badge of honor. In 2026, we have plenty of evidence that patience sometimes pays off, and also plenty of evidence that I should maybe touch grass between announcements. Let us look at the sequels that made the suffering worth it.
Hollow Knight: Silksong: Six Years, One Very Fast Bug
Silksong was the poster child for waiting. Six years of development, endless memes, and a community that turned clown makeup into a lifestyle. But when it finally arrived, the early impressions were positive, and suddenly everyone was sprinting through the game to avoid spoilers like it was a race against the internet itself. Is it hard? Yes. Did some people debate the difficulty until their keyboards melted? Also yes. But the art style is a step up from the original, with brighter colors and more detailed animations. Hornet moves faster and more fluidly than The Knight, and the game is bigger. As a Metroidvania fan, I can confirm that this is the good kind of waiting: the kind where the sequel does not just repeat the first game but builds a shinier, scarier, more acrobatic throne on top of it.
Red Dead Redemption 2: Eight Years to Become a Cowboy
Red Dead Redemption 2 satisfied fans who had been craving a sequel since 2010. Eight years was a long time, but Rockstar used that time to make a world so big and detailed that I once spent twenty minutes watching Arthur Morgan brush a horse. The gameplay was more complex, the story was intense and heartfelt, and player choice could shape the experience. You could play it as a typical Rockstar story, or you could treat it as a Wild West simulator and live out your best cowboy days. Who needs therapy when you have a camp full of sad outlaws and a debt to society?
Alan Wake 2: Thirteen Years of Flashlight Therapy
Alan Wake came out in 2010, and Alan Wake 2 did not arrive until 2023. That is a long time to keep a flashlight charged. The game is short, but it is packed with great moments, music plays a big role like in many Remedy games, and the horror elements are genuinely terrifying in the dark. The gameplay is more open than fans expected, especially after the first game. The cliffhanger ending is brutal, but hopefully we will not wait another thirteen years for answers. I am not sure my nerves can handle another decade of shadowy trees.
Baldur's Gate 3: The Return Nobody Thought Was Possible
Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear was a 2016 expansion to Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, which was a 2012 release. It was the last entry before Baldur's Gate 3 fully launched in 2023, but realistically fans had been waiting since 2000, when the second mainline game released. No one thought a sequel was possible, because many old developers had moved on. Then the franchise returned, grabbed a ridiculous amount of attention, and earned it. It was a groundbreaking return to form for CRPGs, and I say that as someone who rolled a natural 1 on patience.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth: A Trilogy of Teases
Final Fantasy 7 blew the lid off the PS1 in 1997. When Square Enix showed a tech demo of the opening on PS3 in 2005, fans got excited. That demo was never a real game, but that did not stop us from dreaming. Then, in 2015, the remake was announced for real. It hit a snag, but Final Fantasy 7 Remake released in 2020 as part of a trilogy. It may not be exactly what fans expected, but the action gameplay and story twists won people over. Rebirth was received even better. Is it weird to be emotionally attached to a remake of a game I already played? Yes. Is it also wonderful? Also yes.
Donkey Kong Bananza: DK Finally Got His Groove Back
Donkey Kong fans were not doing well for a decade. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze was a 2014 Wii U game and the last entry in the series. Even though DK kicked off Mario's career in 1981, Mario became the cash cow. Then fans were rewarded in a way they could not have predicted with Donkey Kong Bananza. DK was back, better than ever, and this time in 3D with fully destructible environments. It was a new look and a new gameplay style, and that is exactly what helped it excel. Sometimes the monkey needs to smash everything to feel alive.
Kingdom Hearts 3: The Wait Was Full of Spin-Offs
Kingdom Hearts 2 released in 2006 in North America, one year after Japan. Kingdom Hearts 3 did not release until 2019, with spin-offs filling the gap, the last prominent one being 2012's Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance. Fans had portable games and HD collections, but it was not the same as a mainline console follow-up. Kingdom Hearts 3 was worth it, though, with fluid combat and camera controls that fixed so many PS2-era issues. Who knew that waiting over a decade would make a Keyblade feel like a family heirloom?
Psychonauts 2: The Sequel Nobody Expected
Psychonauts 2 is a game fans basically never thought would happen. Most Double Fine games are experimental one-offs and rarely become franchises. A decade after the original, a sequel was announced in 2015, which was shocking. Even then, it did not materialize until 2021. It felt like the game Double Fine wanted to make in 2005, with strange visual experiments and gameplay tricks only modern hardware could handle. The original was a cult hit, but Psychonauts 2 made itself known far and wide as something everyone should pay attention to.

So, what have we learned in 2026? Early announcements are emotional gambling. They are also sometimes worth it. A teaser can make us wait six, eight, or thirteen years, and if the sequel lands well, we forgive the silence. If it does not, we sharpen our pitchforks. But when a game like Silksong, Red Dead Redemption 2, Alan Wake 2, Baldur's Gate 3, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Donkey Kong Bananza, Kingdom Hearts 3, or Psychonauts 2 finally arrives and delivers, the wait becomes part of the story. And honestly? I will keep watching those trailers. I will keep whispering any day now. I will keep being a clown, because sometimes the circus is worth it. ?
All that patience and hype eventually leads to a purchase decision, though. When a long-delayed sequel finally arrives, you want to make sure your money goes as far as your excitement does—especially if you're also catching up on older entries in the series.
That's where a resource like DealNest comes in. It gathers deals from various storefronts so you can compare prices without hopping between tabs. Before you commit to that next adventure, take a moment to check game prices and see if you can start playing for less. After waiting years for a game, saving a few bucks feels like a bonus quest.

I've been playing Hollow Knight: Silksong since it dropped, and let me tell you, Act 1 is no walk in the park. It's 2026 now, and while the game has been out for a hot minute, newcomers are still getting tangled up in Pharloom's web. I've run this route a dozen times, so I'm gonna break down the most efficient path to collect every map, unlock every Bellway, grab all mandatory abilities, and beat every required boss. No fluff, just the good stuff. Buckle up, because we're going from Moss Grotto to The Last Judge in one smooth ride.

Part 1: Moss Grotto to The Marrow
You start off getting tossed off a bridge—classic Hornet luck. After landing in Moss Grotto, just follow the linear path until you hit a Bench. Rest up, then head left to face the Moss Mother. She's not too tough, but if you're still getting used to Hornet's moveset compared to the Knight, she might catch you off guard. I got wrecked a couple times, not gonna lie. Once she's down, continue left, jump into the next room to meet the Chapel Maiden, then head right into Bone Bottom.
In Bone Bottom, find the building with three chevrons—that's a Bellway. You can't fast travel yet, but discovering it saves you a headache later. Continue right into The Marrow, meet Sherma, jump around the Bone Gate, beat a quick gauntlet, and drop down to open a shortcut. Keep going right, take the ceiling exit in the big room, and eventually you'll run into Shakra, the cartographer. Buy the Mosslands and Marrow maps, plus the Quill and Compass. Trust me, you want these.
From Shakra, go left, jump up, and take the ceiling exit. Continue left and enter the top-left exit back in Moss Grotto. You'll find a Weaver statue—use Bind to absorb the Silkspear ability. Then head right, take the bottom-right exit, and use Silkspear to break the Bell Beast free. Beat it to unlock the Marrow Bellway and fast travel. Easy peasy.

Part 2: Deep Docks
From the Marrow Bellway, go all the way right, drop down the tall room, and cross the wide-open room to reach Deep Docks. Find Shakra again—she'll sell you the Deep Docks map. Right next to her is the Deep Docks Bellway. Go right, drop down, and meet the Forge Daughter. She turns Craftmetal into Tools, so she's worth knowing.
Now for the Swift Step ability: from the Forge Daughter, go back to Shakra's room, head up and left, travel up, then right for three rooms. Drop down, loop left, and find another Weaver Statue. Bind to get Swift Step—this lets Hornet dodge into a sprint. From there, go left, drop into Shakra's room, then go all the way right. Use Swift Step in mid-air to reach a platform, then sprint and jump to hit a lever. That opens the gate to Lace's boss room. Lace is a skill check, but once you beat her, head right into Far Fields.
![[Image: 6ac9827ecf81b46c6ab4efd27GDMq6H207]](https://seogc.fp.ps.netease.com/file/6ac9827ecf81b46c6ab4efd27GDMq6H207)
Part 3: Far Fields
After Lace, go right through several rooms until you find a room with upward air vents. Look for two exits on the right to find Shakra (Far Fields map) and the Far Fields Bellway. From the Bellway, drop down, take the bottom-right exit, and keep going right past an automaton in the background. Navigate around the floating building to meet the Seamstress. She gives you the Flexile Spines quest—kill Hoker enemies (the flying ones with side spikes) and collect 25 spines. Return to her for the Drifter's Cloak.
With the cloak, exit the room and you'll bump into the Fourth Chorus—that automaton is now a boss. Beat it, then take the left exit and float upward. Some platforms have explosive rocks; hit them and get away to create new air vents. Near the top, go right into Pilgrim's Rest, then use the cloak to go up and eventually break through the ceiling into Greymoor.
![[Image: 6ac98286704364bdadee2e44xaQYJhHh07]](https://seogc.fp.ps.netease.com/file/6ac98286704364bdadee2e44xaQYJhHh07)
Part 4: Greymoor to Shellwood
In Greymoor, head right to find Shakra and buy the map. Then go all the way left to a large building with a locked door—platform around to the left to enter the Halfway Home. Jump into the attic to meet Nuu, who gives you the Hunter's Journal. Continue left until you drop below a cage with a scissor-wielding enemy. Drop down, go right, take the air vent up, and navigate the rat-filled area to find the Greymoor Bellway.
From the Halfway House, run left, jump across enemies, drop below the cage, then go left instead of right on the air vent. On the far left, you'll fight Moorwing. Defeat it to access Haunted Bellhart. Continue left into Shellwood, platform up, drop down, and find Shakra again for the Shellwood map. Then jump up using white flowers and ledges to reach the Shellwood Bellway.
From the Bellway, go right using flowers, take an elevator to a central Bench (great respawn point). Take the elevator back up, go right, loop to the top-left exit, and fight Sister Splinter. Beat her, continue left to a large room, navigate around the central column, and reach the Weaver Statue. Bind to get Cling Grip—wall jump unlocked! Now go back to the central Bench, use the elevator or wall jump to reach the top-right room, then drop down and go left. You'll find the Widow boss room. Defeat Widow to get the Needolin, and Bellhart is no longer haunted. Meet Relic Seeker Scrounge and Pinmaster Plinney—Plinney upgrades your Needle for free. Score!

Part 5: Shellwood & Blasted Steps
After freeing Bellhart, travel back to Shellwood Bellway, then go left into Blasted Steps. Go left, jump up at the first ceiling entrance, and continue until you're above the path you took. Go right to find Shakra (Blasted Steps map), then head to the top-left and ascend the central column. Go left to find the Blasted Steps Bellway and a Bench.
The runback to The Last Judge is brutal—many call it the hardest in the game. But if you unlock a shortcut about halfway through (loop back before the safe platform between the two large rooms), it's much more manageable. Get to the Citadel entrance, go inside, talk to the pilgrims, and play your Needolin to ring the gate bells. The Last Judge appears. Defeat him to unlock Act 2 and enter The Citadel. Watch the cutscene, go right to the Grand Gate, spend Rosaries on the machine for a map, and you're off to Act 2!

And there you have it—Act 1 in the bag. It's 2026, and this route still holds up. Now go get 'em, Hornet. ?️
If this run through Silksong has you itching to explore more of the genre—or you're holding off on a few titles until the price drops—it's worth keeping an eye on where the best deals surface. Metroidvanias in particular tend to go on sale in waves, and the difference between a full-price purchase and a well-timed one can be substantial, especially if you're building out a backlog of indie titles alongside the bigger releases.
That's where PC game discounts come in handy. DealNest tracks price drops and promotions across storefronts so you don't have to refresh a dozen pages hoping something goes on sale. Whether you're hunting for your next platformer obsession or just want to fill the gaps in your library without overspending, it's a straightforward way to see what's actually worth buying right now.

So, I've been living under a rock—no, wait, I've been living in Hallownest for years, waiting for Silksong. And when it finally dropped, I was ready to lose another 100 hours of my life. But then I saw the Steam reviews. Ouch. ?
As of 2026, the dust has settled a bit, but the initial plunge was brutal. Hollow Knight: Silksong briefly hit a 'Mixed' rating worldwide on Steam, with only 76% positive reviews. Compare that to the original Hollow Knight's 96%. For a game that scored 98 on Metacritic and had critics drooling, that's a massive disconnect. So what went wrong? Was it the difficulty? The bugs? Nope. It was... the Simplified Chinese translation. Yeah, you read that right.

Let me tell you, the translation itself seems to have a personality—a pretentious, faux-Shakespearean one that thinks it's smarter than everyone else. One Chinese player on Reddit, Pro_Cream, put it bluntly: 'As a native speaker of Chinese... the quality of Chinese is so bad to the degree I prefer to play the game in English.' Oof. Another user, 9k99G, said the dialogue reads like someone '[trying] to speak in fake Shakespeare vocabulary with a dialect of Yoda.' Imagine Yoda trying to write a tragedy. That's the vibe. A simple 'I'll kill you' got mangled into something so laughable that players started sharing screenshots for the memes. ?
And here's the kicker: the original Hollow Knight had six people on its Simplified Chinese localization team. Silksong has just two, and none of the original translators returned. One of them, Hertzz Liu, is even suspected of leaking game details on Tieba earlier this year. Yikes. That's like hiring a chef who's also a food critic—and then finding out they leaked the recipe. The translation is like a clingy ex: it just won't let go of its bad habits.

But wait, there's more. Steam reviews in any language also complain about difficulty. More benches, less boss damage, an easy mode—you know the drill. So it's not just the translation. The game's challenge is a double-edged sword, and some players are getting cut. But the translation issue is the one that sparked a coordinated-looking wave of negative reviews. Though I wouldn't call it review bombing—these complaints are legit. Good localization is like a good waiter: you only notice when it's bad. And here, the waiter is dropping plates and speaking in tongues.

Team Cherry, to their credit, apologized via X (formerly Twitter). Matthew Griffin promised they'd 'be working to improve the translation over the coming weeks.' That was in late 2025, and as of 2026, we've seen some patches. But the Steam rating is still recovering. It's like trying to un-spill a glass of milk. You can clean it up, but the stain lingers.

So, what's my take? I'm a huge fan, and I want Silksong to succeed. The gameplay is stellar, the art is gorgeous, and Hornet is a queen. But this whole saga is a reminder that games are global products. If you're going to sell in China, hire enough translators and pay them well. Otherwise, your masterpiece gets dragged by a language barrier. And that's just sad.
Let's hope Team Cherry fixes it soon. Because Silksong deserves better. And so do the players who just want to understand what the heck the NPCs are saying. ?
I mean, come on, who greenlit that translation? You know what I mean? It's a whole thing. But hey, at least the music slaps. ?
In the end, the Steam review section became a battlefield, with players wielding their keyboards like nail-blades. The translation, poor thing, never stood a chance. But if Team Cherry plays their cards right, Silksong might just claw its way back to 'Very Positive.' And I'll be here, waiting with my nail and my popcorn.
All this talk of ratings and patches got me thinking about how much a price tag shapes the way we judge a game. A shaky localization stings a lot less when you grabbed the title at a steep discount, and honestly, that's how most of us end up exploring beyond our comfort zone—picking up something on sale, giving it a shot, and either falling in love or shrugging it off. That's especially true for the long backlog of metroidvanias and soulslikes that Silksong inspired so many people to finally try.
If you're the type who likes to keep an eye on rotating discounts across Steam, Epic, and console storefronts, it helps to have one place that gathers them instead of refreshing five tabs. Sites like game deals today round up current price drops in one spot, which makes it a lot easier to spot when something on your wishlist finally dips. Whether you're hunting for a cheap way to scratch the Silksong itch or just want to see what's discounted before the next sale ends, it's worth a look.

Denia has officially landed in Wuthering Waves, and the community has been buzzing ever since her limited-time banner dropped. She's a 5-star Fusion Rectifier user who wears two hats — Sub-DPS and support — and she wears both of them like a glove. Whether players are stacking Fusion Burst stacks or leaning into Tune Strain shenanigans, Denia is the kind of unit who slots into almost any team and makes everyone around her hit harder. In short, she's the whole nine yards, and if someone pulls her, they'd better know how to build her properly.

Best Weapons for Denia
Since Denia lives and breathes Fusion Sub-DPS gameplay, the ideal weapons are the ones that hand out high ATK, Crit Rate or Crit DMG, and Resonance Liberation DMG bonuses. Anything that boosts Fusion Burst or Tune Strain is icing on the cake.

Why It Works
Forged Dwarf Star
5-star (Signature)
Crit Rate stat, plus 36% Resonance Liberation DMG and ATK when she inflicts Fusion Burst or Tune Strain
Stringmaster

Lethean Elegy

High Base ATK, Crit Rate, DEF ignore
Cosmic Ripples

Solid alternative for damage-focused setups

4-star
Decent ATK buff on a budget
Waltz in Masquerade

Another affordable ATK option
Forged Dwarf Star is the undisputed best-in-slot. It's tailor-made for her passive, and the numbers speak for themselves. For players without it, Stringmaster is a fantastic fallback, while Lethean Elegy brings DEF ignore to the table. The 4-star options work in a pinch, but the damage drop-off is noticeable — no two ways about it.
Best Echoes for Denia
Echo choice can make or break a build, and Denia is no exception.
Trickster — the top pick. Low transformation time means it won't gum up the team rotation, and it hands over a clean 12% Fusion DMG Bonus.
Lioness of Glory — the runner-up, offering 12% Fusion DMG Bonus plus Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus.
Voidwing Moth — a serviceable option if the stats roll well.
Impermanence Heron — same deal; only worth it with great substats.
Best Sonata Sets
Denia is spoiled for choice when it comes to Sonata sets, and the right one depends entirely on her role in the team.

Flaming Clawprint (5-pc)
Solid alternative if the above are missing
Moonlit Clouds (5-pc)
Budget-friendly fallback with team utility
Best Denia Teams
Team building hinges on which Resonance mode players want to lean into.
Fusion Burst Mode
Aemeath capitalizes fully on Denia's Fusion DMG buffs and Fusion Burst amplification.
Lupa and Chisa provide extra Fusion-related buffs and sustain.
Tune Strain Mode
Luuk Herssen synergizes perfectly thanks to faster Off-Tune buildup and Tune Break Boost effects.
Mornye rounds things out with extra buffs and utility.
Main DPS Mode
Lynae brings strong off-field buffs and damage amplification.
Mornye keeps the team consistent and alive.
Free-to-Play Setup
Encore and Verina form a reliable core, with Denia acting as a powerful Sub-DPS and Fusion support while Verina handles buffs and healing.
Denia's Kit Explained
Denia scales off ATK and juggles two distinct modes: Fusion Burst and Tune Strain.
Dark Core — she can hold up to 3. Consuming each one boosts Banish Breakdown Form's damage multiplier by 150%. They build up over time during Entropy Shift states and through Intro Skills.
Void Particle — up to 100 can be stored. Generated through attacks and skills in Stagecraft Form, then consumed in Breakdown Form to strengthen attacks and speed up Conformal Charge regeneration.
Fusion Burst Mode — continuously applies Fusion Burst stacks, amplifies Fusion damage, and shreds Fusion resistance, even while off-field.
Tune Shift Mode — inflicts Tune Strain while granting All DMG Amplification, Tune Break DMG bonus, and increased ATK.
Off-field Buffs — Fusion DMG Bonus, Fusion resistance shred, All DMG increase, and Tune Break DMG boosts, all while she's swapped out.
That last part is the real kicker. Denia doesn't need to be on the field to be useful, which makes her rotation-friendly and a blessing for players who like to juggle characters.

Ascension Materials
Maxing out Denia means farming Forte materials, Inherent Skill upgrades, and stat bonuses. Players should plan their resin spending accordingly, because the grind is real — but the payoff is absolutely worth it.
Final Thoughts
Denia is the kind of character who makes everything click. She's a jack of all trades — sub-DPS, support, Fusion enabler — and she masters all of them. For Aemeath and Luuk Herssen owners, she's a no-brainer pickup. For everyone else, she's still an incredibly flexible unit who can carry her weight in almost any composition. Build her right, and she'll pay dividends for a long time to come.
Whether you're aiming to pull for Denia's upcoming reruns or simply want to maximize your account's potential, managing your resources wisely is key. Keeping track of game deals today can help you stretch every Asterite and Lunite you earn, making the grind feel a lot less daunting.
For a streamlined way to find those offers, DealNest gathers current promotions and discounts in one place. It's worth a look if you'd rather spend less time hunting for bargains and more time perfecting your rotations.

The 10th Anniversary Stellar Gala turned the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang account market into a stampede. Everyone wanted the limited Layla skin, the collab collections, the Mythic badge — and the scammers were already waiting. Community reports now attribute 62% of 2026 MLBB account scam cases to fake or altered proof screenshots, with frankensteined images, reclaimed accounts, and inflated listings turning a flashy Mythic profile into a total money sink. In Season 42, Patch 2.2.16, the only real defense is a checklist a buyer runs before a single dollar moves.
Ren learned this the slow way. He had saved for four months, scrolled through dozens of listings, and finally found “the one” — a Mythical Immortal profile loaded with anniversary exclusives. The seller sent eleven screenshots, all glowing. Ren almost paid that night. Instead, he paused, opened a notepad, and started checking.
? Checkpoint One: Prove the Profile Is Real
The first rule is boring and absolute: match the User ID and Server ID on every single screenshot. If the numbers drift between images, the gallery is fake. Ren ran the ID through a third-party checker such as Redxgame to confirm the nickname actually belonged to that account, then looked at the clock. Genuine October 2026 proof should show Season 42’s 10th Anniversary lobby elements, including the Stellar Gala or Anniversary Gala icons. He compared the system time and the battery bar across all eleven images — and found a 3% battery jump between two shots supposedly taken ninety seconds apart. That was the frankensteined-proof trigger.
![[Image: 6ac3e84c8091841683c27fa8koDNsNLr07]](https://seogc.fp.ps.netease.com/file/6ac3e84c8091841683c27fa8koDNsNLr07)
Ren walked away. Two weeks later, the same listing reappeared under a different seller name, still carrying the same mismatched battery bar.
? Checkpoint Two: Audit Value In-Game, Not In Photos
A profile-count screenshot proves nothing. MLBB carries 133 total heroes in this version, so a serious high-value account should display 120+ heroes, including the 2026 releases Hirara, Marcel, Sora, and Obsidia, plus all 9 emblems at Level 60. One missing new hero or one uneven emblem level quietly shaves value off the deal — and often signals an outdated screenshot recycled from an earlier season.
Skins deserve the same suspicion. Instead of accepting cropped thumbnails, ask for the gallery pages of specific assets: October’s Starlight Hayabusa “Kitsune’s Shadow,” Collector Sun “Celestial Rebel,” and the 10th Anniversary exclusive Layla “Prismatic Rhythm.” Then verify rare collections — Aspirants 5.0, Jujutsu Kaisen, Star Wars, KOF, Abyss, Legend, Collector, and Prime. Finally, inspect Season 42 rank (Mythic or Mythical Immortal preferred), a 60%+ total win rate, a highest-rank history of Mythical Glory or Immortal, 32k+ Battle Points, and cosmetic effects such as Fire Crown or Dazzling Return.
? Checkpoint Three: Security Is Non-Negotiable
Ren’s second candidate looked perfect on paper. Then he opened Account Settings before discussing payment, and the deal collapsed in four minutes.
The profile must have a changeable Moonton ID, with Facebook, Google Play, TikTok, and VK either absent or demonstrably unlinked. An unremovable binding hands the original owner a reclaim route, no matter how sincere the seller sounds. Buyers should also activate or verify New Device Verification and Secondary Password, inspect Device Records to confirm that only the seller’s current device appears, and confirm Logout All Devices can actually be completed.
Because the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang official website does not support account trading under Moonton’s terms, buyers carry extra risk against recovery claims built on original receipts. Missing security screenshots are a hard stop, never a minor documentation gap. No payment while an unknown device, a locked email, or a third-party login remains attached.
?️ Checkpoint Four: Close the Deal With Escrow
Before paying, Ren reconciled every listing claim against a written checklist: 120+ heroes, Hirara/Marcel/Sora/Obsidia, 9 Level 60 emblems, the named premium skins, Season 42 Mythic or Immortal, 60%+ win rate, 32k+ BP, rare recall effects, and clean bindings. He used an insured escrow platform for the transaction, so post-purchase protection could absorb scam or reclaim risk. Then he kept everything — original screenshots, chat records, transfer steps, and a final Device Records capture — until the account stayed secure well after handover.

Ren eventually bought a smaller account — 124 heroes, eight premium skins, a spotless binding history. It cost less than the flashy one, and it never vanished. In a market where 62% of scams begin with a doctored screenshot, patience is not a personality trait. It is the purchase protection.
⚠️ One last habit worth building: screenshot the checklist itself, timestamp it, and store it beside the chat log. If a reclaim attempt ever arrives, that single folder decides who keeps the account.

I still remember the first time Hiyuki walked onto my screen in Wuthering Waves version 3.3. It was April 30, 2026, and I had saved Astrite like a squirrel hoarding nuts for winter. The limited banner finally opened, I pressed the wish button with sweaty thumbs, and when her sword shimmered into view, I did not just cheer — I scared my cat. That moment kicked off my favorite Glacio project of 2026: turning Hiyuki into a main DPS who hits like a freight train.

Hiyuki is a 5-star Glacio Sword Resonator. She is built for main DPS duty, scales on ATK and Crit, and specializes in Resonance Liberation DMG. Her base stats are ATK 462, DEF 1112, and HP 10300. Those numbers might look modest on paper, but her kit is where the magic happens. She switches between two forms, builds power, and then drops a Resonance Liberation that can delete entire health bars. I learned quickly that if I ignored her form-swapping rhythm, I was just playing a very pretty sword user. When I respected it, she became a monster.
My Build: Weapon, Echoes, and the Stuff That Matters ⚔️❄️
If you want to build Hiyuki in 2026, a good 5-star weapon and the right Echo set are non-negotiable. I grabbed her signature weapon, Frostburn, from the weapon banner after pulling her. Frostburn is the best-in-slot sword, and it makes her damage feel smooth like butter. If you do not have it, do not panic. Blazing Brilliance is the second-best option with high base ATK and 48.60% Crit DMG. Emerald of Genesis and Red Spring are also strong 5-star alternatives with similar stats and slightly different passives. For 4-star comfort, Feather Edge and Fable is Wisdom can hold the line until a better sword comes home.

For Echoes, Wishes of Quiet Snowfall is the sonata set I farmed first. The 5-piece bonus boosts Glacio DMG and grants the Snowfall effect, increasing Crit Rate by 25% when Resonance Liberation DMG is used. Hiyuki lives for Resonance Liberation damage, so this set fits her like a tailored glove. Freezing Frost 5-pc is a decent temporary alternative if your Wishes of Quiet Snowfall rolls are being rude. For the main Echo, Reminiscence: Threnodian – Voidborne Construct is the dream. It deals damage when summoned and provides an extra 12% Glacio and Resonance Liberation DMG bonus. Lampylumen Myriad is a fine fallback if the new Echo refuses to drop.
Stat priorities are simple: Crit Rate, Crit DMG, Glacio DMG bonus, and ATK%. I spent a whole weekend rerolling Echoes, and I am not proud of the number of times I whispered please to my monitor. But when Hiyuki finally hit a clean Crit, the grind felt worth it.
Kit and Rotation: Two Forms, One Big Sword ?
Hiyuki’s kit is based on two forms. In Present Self, her normal state, she uses Normal Attacks and Resonance Skill to build Forte Gauge Dedication. When Dedication is full, enhanced Heavy Attack and Resonance Liberation become available. Using the enhanced Resonance Liberation transforms her into Forclaimed Self. That transformation is the signal to start cooking.
In Forclaimed Self, Normal Attacks or Resonance Skill hits restore Forte Gauge Frostheart. With enough stacks, dodging lets her enter Iai Stance. Pressing Normal Attack in Iai Stance deals Basic Attack Iai damage, quick slashes that can ignore incoming damage. Every Basic Attack – Iai builds a stack of Whiteout Bitterfrost. At three stacks, I use Heavy Attack – Bitterfrost in Forclaimed form to gain a Snowforged Blade stack. Those Snowforged Blade stacks can be spent by charging Resonance Liberation, also known as Blade Liberation, to increase its damage. The best part? If I do not spend them immediately, they are not wasted. They carry over and wait for a better window.
Hiyuki also applies Glacio Chafe and Glacio Bite to enemies, dealing bonus damage and triggering effects like Frostbind. She even provides a team-wide Glacio damage buff when swapped out, which means she is not selfish. She is the rare main DPS who brings snacks for the whole party.

Teams: Lynae and Chisa Make Her Shine ✨
The teams I tested revolve around Hiyuki plus one support and one Sub-DPS buffer. Lynae and Chisa are the gold standard. Lynae is the best Sub-DPS for Hiyuki because her massive DMG buffs increase all DMG types and Resonance Liberation DMG. Chisa is the best healer support because she increases the max stack limit of Glacio Chafe by 3. Hiyuki’s Inherent Skill also has great synergy with Chisa’s Havoc Bane application, which pushed my damage into silly territory. If you do not have Lynae or Chisa, Mornye or Shorekeeper works well, especially alongside a Sub-DPS who buffs Glacio DMG bonus, ATK, Crit Rate, or Crit DMG.
I ran a few Tower of Adversity floors with Hiyuki, Lynae, and Chisa. The first attempt was messy because I treated her like a normal sword character. The second attempt, I waited for Dedication, transformed, built Whiteout Bitterfrost, and then charged Blade Liberation. The boss’s health bar did not just drop — it evaporated. My friend watched the clip and said, that is a truckload of damage. He was right.
Ascension and Final Thoughts ❄️
For ascension, I pre-farmed her materials for Forte, Inherent Skill, and stat bonuses. The full material list is long, but the routine is familiar: farm Glacio ascension mats, weekly boss drops, and enough credits to make your wallet cry. Do not rush the last few levels unless you enjoy being broke in every other upgrade system.

Hiyuki is one of my favorite 2026 Wuthering Waves characters. She is not a brainless unga-bunga DPS. She rewards timing, form management, and a team that understands her Glacio needs. If you are pulling for her, give her the Frostburn or a good Crit sword, farm Wishes of Quiet Snowfall, bring Lynae and Chisa if you can, and learn the Iai rhythm. Once you do, she will repay you with beautiful, freezing, screen-clearing numbers. And yes, I am still scared-cat-level excited every time she transforms.
If pre-farming her materials taught me anything, it's that the resource grind never really ends — and the same goes for supporting the characters you actually want. Between Wishes, ascension mats, and the occasional skin or bundle that catches your eye, the spending adds up faster than a fully charged Blade Liberation. So before you commit your pulls, it is worth seeing what is available outside the game itself.
I have started checking best game deals on DealNest before topping up or grabbing any new release, since the site rounds up discounted bundles and offers in one place instead of making me dig through a dozen storefronts. It will not fix my credit shortage, but it does make the Snowforged grind a little easier on the wallet.

As of October 5, 2026, Middle-earth: Shadow of War has shed its infamous loot-box skin and emerged as a pure single-player ARPG that veterans snag for a paltry $5.99 on Steam. The game boasts an 89% Very Positive rating from over 117,000 reviews and holds steady with roughly 2,100 concurrent players daily. Yet newcomers still drag their feet, haunted by the game's rocky 2017 launch. This updated review breaks down whether Talion's hunt for legendary 7-7-7-7 Orcs is finally worth a full campaign run now that microtransactions are history.
The Post-Loot Box Era: A Transformed Single-Player ARPG
Monetization ghosts exited Mordor for good in July 2018. The definitive patch deleted the Market, Gold currency, and War Chests permanently. Today, earning Orc followers relies entirely on gameplay. Recruitment happens only through the Nemesis System, not by purchase. Shadow Wars (Act IV) underwent a major rebalance—now shorter, more narrative-driven, and without grind-gating Talion's journey to a satisfying closure. Veterans know the Definitive Edition remains the community standard, offering all content with no paywalls. In other words, the cash cow has been put out to pasture, and players can finally enjoy the whole nine yards without feeling nickel-and-dimed.

Nemesis System, Sieges, and Endgame Orc Meta
Combining Arkham-style combat and stealth, the core loop thrives in 2026. The Nemesis System stands alone as a procedural engine: Orc captains remember your kills, revive for revenge, show unique phobias, and trigger faction betrayals. Five fortress regions—Minas Ithil, Cirith Ungol, Nurnen, Seregost, Gorgoroth—set the stage for sieges where 7-7-7-7 Orc builds and Wrathgiver gear dominate meta discussions. Community reports flag hacked forts as the main PC Online Conquest frustration. Servers keep Online Vendettas and Social Conquests live; but with Nemesis Forge offline since the 2021 Shadow of Mordor shutdown, cross-game imports are dead. Switch 2 gets an Offline Garrison only, missing the online suite found on PC and legacy consoles.
The Nemesis System is the elephant in the room that no other game has truly replicated. It turns every death into a story, every victory into a grudge. For those who love emergent narrative, it's the whole shooting match.
Story, Expansions, and Tolkien Purist Caveats
Exploring Talion and Celebrimbor's dark partnership means accepting non-canon lore—the campaign is cinematic, but diverges sharply from Tolkien's written universe. The Definitive Edition includes both expansions: Blade of Galadriel and Desolation of Mordor. These add fresh perspectives, new tribes, and side stories, further extending playtime. Players allergic to open-world map clearing or strict Tolkien purists will bounce—community threads confirm this regularly. If one demands absolute fidelity to the Professor's texts, this game will be a bitter pill to swallow. But for those who can separate book from game, it's a wild ride.
Performance and Platform Status: Steam Deck, Switch 2, Servers
Expect robust performance on mid-range 2024/25 hardware: 4K/60FPS is the norm, with Steam Deck Verified stability at 60FPS/high settings. The September 2026 Switch 2 Shadow Bundle launched with the Definitive Edition at a 50% discount ($34.99), but restricts players to Offline Garrison mode. PC and legacy consoles offer the full social conquest suite; platform-specific gaps remain prominent for handhelds and consoles. All server data reflect late 2026 status—no publicly verifiable future changes announced. In short, if online conquest is your bread and butter, stick with PC or older consoles.

Price, Value, and Final Verdict: Is Shadow of War Worth Playing in 2026?
Checking current value reveals $5.99 Autumn Sale pricing (90% off $59.99), with historical all-time lows between $1.97–$2.78. User rating sits at 89% Very Positive from more than 117,000 reviews; average concurrents hover at ~2,100 daily. Before buying, consult price trackers for live discounts and sales history. Confirm the official sale price and expansions included on the Steam store page. Buy the Definitive Edition for all Orc tribes and story DLC; campaign length ranges 50–100 hours depending on map-clearing and fort defense. Skip if one demands strict canon or hates open-world loops.
Final verdict: yes—Shadow of War is the best value ARPG of 2026, outlasting trends and holding strong in veteran circles. The loot-box fiasco is water under the bridge. For the price of a cup of coffee, players get a sprawling, revenge-fueled sandbox that still has no equal. Don't beat a dead horse—just buy it and start hunting.
